The future of music with Red Bull Music Academy

The Red Bull Music Acadamy will present a night of cutting edge electronic music at Springfestival, Weds 16th May at Postgarage.

The Red Bull Music Academy is a worldwide series of music workshops and festivals: a platform for visionaries who shape the future of music. RBMA will present a night of cutting edge electronic music at Springfestival, featuring Scuba, Axel Boman and John Talabot.

Scuba
Scuba is the production and DJ alias of Paul Rose, the curator of Hotflush Recordings, a label, which having released some of the most important tracks of the formative period of dubstep, has grown into a leading player on the electronic music scene. Scuba’s new album ‘Personality’ features 11 brand new track across a wealth of genres, proving once again Scuba’s place at the cutting edge of the electronic music scene. source by totallyfuzzy@blogspot

John Talabot
John Talabot is a youngster from Barcelona with a rather special way of approaching music. Borrowing his school’s name for his alias and the most diverse samples for his music, he produces expansive and iconoclastic housey tracks. His influences range from flamenco to nouthern soul, from African music to traditional Asian songs and he’s inspiration sources go from the profound and sensual house of Moodyman and labels such as Sound Signature or KDJ to Disco music, Chicago House, Pop or Techno, whatever he likes. His tracks are organic, human, full of life – the kind of music that keeps not only your feet moving, but also your heart tingling. source by permanent vacation

Axel Boman
Axel Boman keeps the wheels of clubland in Stockholm spinning with his warm, expansive selections. Whether it’s dreamy deep house or pitter-pattering techno, a stint at the Fryhusets DJ school and time spent digging in his brother’s Italo disco collection have clearly influenced his take on a functional dancefloor dynamic. Signed to Pampa, the label run by quirky German DJ don Koze, his irresistibly tricky tracks have created quite a stir on the house and techno circuit. The hotly tipped breakthrough DJ has been playing everywhere between Barcelona and Berlin recently. credited by redbullmusicacadamyradio
